wow, that's very thoughtful of you!
My cast is removed a week before Monday, and now I trying to get some movement back in it. I can use my wrist, but not with heavy lifting (or boxing for example). Designing is slow, but it works quit nicely.
I just finished NoissGrumm, and send it USA for the Urban paper release party.
Wassup Doc?
You're not the only one who asked me this ?uestion. But I'm still thinkin' of a place, where they can all pose for a group portrait.
Or I can take a picture of the 4 banana boxes (full of...).

HI Dr. Shazam, Thanks for the nice comments about my little imp guy. I love my Wacom Bamboo FUN, it replaced (and is almost identical) to my old Wacom Graphire. I have the small Bamboo FUN they have a drawing space about 4x6, sells for about $100 and comes bundled with Corel Painter Essentials. Is the littlest tablet big enough? YES IT IS! It fits very nicely next to a key board, and the drawing area is a good size ( I don't actually like to have to move my hand around a larger tablet.) The Bamboo FUN is the one that comes bundled with Painter Essential (not to be confused with the cheaper plain Bamboo tablet that does not.) Painter Essential software will give you a very accurate idea of what it is like to use Corel Painter X. Painter Essential is a slightly lesser version, fewer brushes, but still there is a great deal that can be done with it, including layers. I have been drawing with a version of Painter (6, 8, and 9 )since 2000, I love the program! As opposed to a vector program like Corel Draw or Illustrator, Painter is a pixel program. When I use Painter, I feel very much like I am drawing, the method and thought process are very much like drawing. When I use a vector program, I feel like I am manipulating, not drawing. When I first started drawing with a tablet, I didn't have a scanner - I think that was actually an advantage. I learned to draw starting with a blank digital canvas and draw directly into the program, (no scanning a pencil drawing and cleaning it up digitally). The wonderful thing about drawing into Painter directly, is that I can doodle along, changing anything I like. I use a lot of layers, because I will want to try something new on a drawing, I'll start a new layer, so that if I don't like what I tried, I can just turn off the layer. I almost NEVER know where I'm going when I start drawing in Painter, I just know that I'll keep making layers until I get there. My flickr site http://www.flickr.com/photos/17587393@N03/
has some of my abstracts and other drawings -- all were drawn digitally (2-3 were drawn in the vector program Xara Xtreme) all the rest were drawn in Corel Painter. The very different looks are possible because of all the different brushes in Painter.
Sorry if this got a bit wordy, I really like drawing digitally and I love it if I can help someone with it. Best Regards, Jacque
what's up shazam?..thanks...I did say if you need anyhelp you can e-mail me.....but maybe today I'll put some more up concerning visual matters!..8-)
oh yea, I like that sparky guy...the car emblim is dope!
Thanks for checking it out, Dr. Shazam! I appreciate your comments as well. Love Sparky! I've never seen a matchstick with so much personality! :) Can't wait to see the new character you're working on.
HA! It's something I usually have to do to keep happy and sane. As a freelancer, I work from home a lot, so it allows me time to juggle multiple projects. It's much harder when I work on site. But I have worked very hard to streamline my sites and my workflow, so updating is pretty quick. The real bummer is that I used to have a lot more energy, but no real focus or direction. Now I have all this stuff to keep me busy but I'm so damn tired all of the time, 'cause I'm get'n old. ;) But I still probably have more energy than most kids! ;)
Btw, Great job on Sparky! He's hot!

I've downloaded your Sparky and I will be making one very soon. It looks awesome. I haven't ventured into making my own models yet. Maybe soon...
By the way, the Cafeteria Trey Hedkase is a really cool idea.

If you don't have many files, Box.net is the best - it has a monthly transfer limit, but is not a problem if you have a limited file number.
