REPOST - Pee-Wee Tribute

I'm very excited to have a piece in "I Know You Art, But What Am I?" Pee-Wee Herman tribute art show at Gallery 1988 in Venice, CA! Opening reception is Friday July 29th. I'm a big fan of Pee-Wee so I'm super stoked this is my first piece for a Gallery 1988 show! Above are some pics of my piece titled "Andy?!" in and out of the box/frame, based on a scene from the movie Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, one of my all time faves. I really enjoy making these large scale pieces (this one is about 2 feet tall) for art shows and got plans to do more! They are made of chipboard, cardstock and spray-paint and then put in a wood box/frame.

NOTE: I am re-posting the last 4 blog posts due to the ugly presence of highly unwanted spam from a douche bag who could care less about the efforts of some very creative people who've worked very hard to place their passion and creativity in front of an audience who wants to see it.
