hey there. for those of you that are able to and interested in competing, i wanted to let you know that the deadline for submissions has been extended to March 26th so there's still plenty of time to get your entries in and considered.

Dang. such a good contest yet so many of us cannot compete.

Yeah, being excluded sucks, especially on the 'net.

Let's just build our own and show it off here. :-)

@MCK Not at all man, I read about it late last night when I came home from work, I guess I was a little excited, I didn't read the rules myself... Coming from Ireland I can't enter the competition either, it's a little disappointing.

@onetwentythree
I hope I didn't offend you, and if I did: I'm sorry. You were the first to post about this site (at least the first I noticed, and I follow a lot of rss about papertoys) and thx for that: keep em coming. My comment was made out of frustration: when I read the website and the "about the competition" there was no limitations that would hold me back. So I got some great ideas. But just to be sure, I read the "rules" and was kinda disappointed.
Scion and Gaint Robot is primarily orientated toward America, but I didn't know that when I read the site.
They even exclude Asian countries (mother corporation of Scion is Japanese Toyota, Shin is Japanese )

@ADMSXT

@Methuup da Funky One

I was really excited about this: Nice competition, Nice prices, Nice template to work with.
My creativity started to buzzz..
I would have entered except for a little thing: I can't compete...... (rule number 1)

So everybody that wants to enter this competition need to read the rules:

"ELIGIBILITY. CONTEST ENTRANTS (“ENTRANTS”) MUST BE LEGAL RESIDENTS
OF THE UNITED STATES OR THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, AGED 18 YEARS OR
OLDER, AND NOT A MINOR IN THEIR STATE OF RESIDENCE AT THE TIME OF
ENTRY TO BE ELIGIBLE. CONTEST SUBJECT TO ALL APPLICABLE FEDERAL,
STATE AND LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS."

Kinda sad, that the rest of the world is excluded..... :(
