First Paper Toy Attempt - Bookwormatron

Hello all at Nice Paper Toys,

Just wanted to share my first paper toy creation - a little robot reading a book. As I'm sure some paper toy fans will see, I'm heavily influenced by the work of Loulou and Tummie - but wanted to design something that can sit on a desk at work or decorate a shelf with its little legs dangling over.

I've had to work with very basic tools to create this toy - namely powerpoint! Hence there's no instructions on the template, in fact the 'mouth' or 'jaw' section is a bit confusing as I've had to 'pile' shapes to achieve the design I was going for - hopefully you'll be able to work it out though!

There's a blank template included too if anyone is interested!

I've designed a couple of other robots for friends - they have slightly different head designs and carry different objects (like a fishing rod!) I'll upload these in due course.

If you want to upload either a powerpoint or pdf file you can go to the main page then to the "Template Depot" which is under Groups on the left side of the main page. In that group you can upload both files and pics for everyone to download.

Your model is great by the way and I'm sure you will have plenty of folks making and customizing it.
