Alien fan art release (BBC week)

Design :    The Alien is a one page one piece papertoy based on the  Xenomorph from the Alien movie franchise.

About :    They come at night, mostly. I love the Alien films (Alien over Aliens mind you) and the  Xenomorph continues to fascinate me. So I figured it would be interesting to try and make a papertoy of the Alien with child like proportions in an attempt to make it look “cuter”. I’m really pleased with how it came out, especially as originally it was meant to be an A5 double sided toy and had to be changed into an A4 single sided toy. The toy itself when flat fills the page very well and when built is surprisingly large.

Depending on the popularity of this design, I might do more, I did enjoy working in this style, I’m thinking about doing a set containing a face-huger, chest-burster and egg all in one page.
