im pretty blur about the message the site is trying to tell.

Is it refering to incidents where some people post up someone elses design and say that it is theirs?
Or is it about people taking their designs, changing it allitle and say that its their design?

I´m with Marshall Alexander, i know that you have the best intentions. And I think is that the web page don´t have enough information. The first time I saw it I thogth "it is bad build their paper toys or is bad I create one?".
But later looking the paper toy and the messenges I understood the real meaning of the things. As desingners we must to remmember that we can´t be perfectly sure that the user is will get all the information as we think they will do it. Sometimes an image is not sufficient.
It was all a misunderstanding (sorry my english is really bad)
by the way, those paper toy in the web page are really cool. And I like all the messenges.

Hey Marshall,
Man that's not what I had in mind at all. I can't speak for the others involved in the project or for Shin who spearheaded it. I know you've had an experience or two were your work was used without permission. I've had several instances were I seen my work "command C"d and then pasted into someone else's work without permission or even an acknowledgment. There has been a lot of spirited debate on this subject here on these forums. I saw this as a positive and creative response to a problem that plagues papertoy work. The message of my toy is "Be True to You" I thought was a positive one. A declaration of nurturing ones own creative spirit, not a condemnation or judgment on others work. I'm not discounting your opinion though and I can definitely see why it struck you the way it did. I accepted the invitation to participate because I saw it as a project to get a positive message out and a way to collaborate on a project with people I really respect and who's work I enjoy.
I wouldn't have posted about this project or participated in it had I felt it was an attack on other designers.
Have another drink on me:)
