@Castleforte The main reason was to make the nose part of the shape a little easier. With it being on the edge, you can just stick the back of the nose together and it sticks out where as if it was on a flat face it would have had to be a separate piece that stuck on or folded around, both of which would impact on the rounded shape.
With the same reasoning it let me put the arms on the sides of the model making it quicker to design and build. Plus it let the ear muffs stick out a little more.
Nice one! Can't figure out why you put the "front" on the angle though? Seems to me it would make more sense on the flat "front" side. Was there a specific reason for this or just your choice?
