Thanks. The cardboard is rather light: 180 gram (European indication). It can't be too heavy for such a small model. The base is a piece of foam board. It is glued with normal white glue, used for paper. Then, to fix the arms directly into their shape, I use some superglue in the joints. The paint is acrylic, in two layers. This gives considerable extra strength. Making small models is not difficult at all: the X acto knife can cut more precise then you can draw. Cutting the pieces, gluing them, painting: less paper is less work !
