Making Gomper Pops

When homemade gummy comes out of mold, it's best to dust it with confectioner's sugar so it's not sticky.

Here's my secret sour gummy recipe:

3 packs unflavored gelatin, 2 packs Jello, 1 pack Kool Aid (same flavor as Jello).

Boil 1 cup water, mix in gelatin until it dissolves - no lumps! Once unflavored gelatin is dissolved in boiling water, add Jello and Kool-Aid, stir and dissolve.

Pour into candy molds - you can buy them at craft stores, or make them from Food Grade Silicone Putty from:

    http://www.alumilite.net/ProdDetail.cfm?Category=Silicone%20Rubber&...

Just push the putty on a toy's face, and it gets hard in 10 minutes. Now you have a mold of someone's face - make gummy candy.

Put gummy in refrigerator to get hard (10-`15 minutes) - remove from mold, dust with confectioner's sugar. Eat 'em.

If you don't like sour, skip the Kool Aid for regular gummy candy. We like it sour!
