I love the idea as well, although I doubt my love gets the claws, broken heart and dead-eyes   ;) Wouldn't it be nice to make the vellum-part hole of the stomach heart-shaped and without the vellum? He would have a hole in his heart and we would be able to look inside it too (to see what happened to this poor bear).

And another idea: if you get the bear to lean back just a little bit (it's an easy fix), than the arms might come up, having the effect of the bear actually wanting to hug me.
