Is it possible to take off the eggshell hat?

Thanks. Yes, you can take it off. The antennae are easier to use/bend while connected to the hat tho. The model evolved when i was playing around with edge-shapes trying to use them with a round look. Real egg-shapes are complicated to build and to glue them can be quite fiddeling. I wanted the model to be simple. I just finished the instructions and will upload the template to my blog soon.
