I'm probably going to use papakura designer to get this done... the design will be simplified... like the arm, the tie, and especially the boom box... hopefully I'll get it done... but as soon as I do I will post it...

@CGD... Thanks for the offer for the blank... we'll see how things come out... :o)

Thanks everybody

That is awesome! I would love to have a go at makin' him if when you get the template out. :D YOU CAN DO IT!

Maybe I'm not seeing it all clear (and I'm not too familiar with SketchUp), but with complex I mean, for example around the elbow on the right. I think you can lose three out of four of those those folds, without having to compromise the design.

Very nice, but maybe one bit too complex (for me). I love the tie though! Are you going to render it through the pepakura-software, or will you work it out old-fashionly by hand?

Hey, if you wanna do that, go for it... though I could always send you the blank, too. It's just about done. Also thinking maybe I should figure out how to use sketchup! Dude, this is seriously cool.

As soon as I can figure out how to do that... and with permission from CGD

I think I can output this to Papkura designer and come up with a template

Now that's what I'm talkin' 'bout! Reminds me of the big home-boy with da boombox from the "Do The Right Thing" movie. We're gonna see this in a download-able template right? Don't give up on me now... =)
