I wasn't able to get two edges to meet up right by cutting paper, so I recreated the idea in sketchup and then got silly with the measuring tool. Detail orientation, yup.
Thank you Nicolas, that was an idea I also had. The model is for an exhibition of Warhol's photographs in Colorado, USA. The Warhol foundation is very sensitive about people duplicating his work. There is some irony in this sensitivity. We are asking permission to place a very small copy of his banana album cover on the version that will be printed here for the catalog. I'm also thinking about "cien años de soledad" and "la casa grande" ;) with this work.
