I have made several box designs which I hope to post before long, and am working on a new one that is more complicated and I am stumped.
Do not yet know how to use 3D or CAD {just found out this is really a real thing %*) } programs and although am trying to learn about them, have this character in my head and want to get it on paper...so I am using the only program I know really well -- Word. (the problems there are a whole 'nother question!)
I want to make a turtle shell convex/curved out but have no idea how to split the template sides apart to insert tabs for overlap without messing up the shell's skin design. Much less how to keep the outside edges the same size to match the tabs of the front. Since I'm really, really a baby beginner simple details are greatly appreciated.
