OMG WTH, PDF?

Hey Gang,

 

How much do you know about PDFs? These things are really dangerous. I knew you could hide scripts in them, which is scary enough, but did you know you can hide executables in them? All kinds of weirdness like that.

 

If you're like me, you get most of your online paper toys in PDF format. Not everyone out there is nice like our community here. Just a heads up to be cautious about PDFs.

 

Anybody have ideas about PDF alternatives for distributing our toys?

    I've been downloading thousands and thousands of pdf's for over two and a half years now.

    Never a problem and I'm sure members of NPT will ring the alarm when somethings wrong.

    Don't worry to much and if ya do, don't watch this video.

      This might only be a big problem when DLing PDFs from "Anons". 

      I won't say I'll give up PDF completely, I'll probably be more wary of where I'm DLing from, though.

      But, PDFs are the best way to keep your illos looking sharp.

        All my online toys are Jpegs. But I usually send files to clients via PDF - so nothing moves around when they try to print.

         

        I had no idea about the dangers. O-o'
