I was playing around in Sketchup to see if I could make a simple Papertoy to run through Piperka. What I came up with is this:

Which might be a bit too reminiscent to Mark James's Cardboy, but I liked it. (The head leans forward a bit, and of course the body is different, but it's still a small body with a giant square head... :-) ) Something I don't like though is Piperka. The arms (Which are mirror copies...) were unfolded differently, the body had some stupid folds and the whole toy took up only about 50% of the paper, because of huge spaces in between. So, either I'm just being stupid or Piperka isn't all it's been made out to be... Anyway, I printed to PDF and opened that up in Illustrator, redesigned the way the body shape folded and now I'm doing the designy bit. I have 4 versions planned: A Black Ninja (see pic), a White Ninja, a Japanese kid (Maybe the Ninja's alter ego?) and an Emo-kid. Any thoughts?
