Recently the great http://paperkraft.blogspot.com held a Paper Toy Summer Fun Contest as many of you know. They released the 3 winners this week and I was super stoked to find out I was one of them. I know it's kind of "tooting my own horn" to make a post about it but I'm really proud to have won and happy to see that my pics are worthy in the large paper toy community. The picture above was my winning entry.

I take all my pics with just my little canon point and shoot camera. I've learned some things over time with the camera and it's all come about because of the picture of toys I've been taking. I was even asked to be interviewed live at a craft and art show and interviewed by a couple local newspapers because of my paper toys that I place around town and the pictures I take. Funny how something you enjoy and do just for fun and creative expression can turn into so much more.

So I am enjoying my prize of a copy of "We Are Paper Toys" just in time for my Birthday on July 8th and I am looking forward to continuing to take more pics of all the wonderful toys created by all of you and maybe even a few from myself.
