Paper Toy Expo

On Tuesday, Oct. 20th we celebrated National Design Week in my classroom by having a Paper Toy Expo open to the whole high school. Over forty students came in at lunch to build Paper Totems. For many students this was their first experience building paper toys, but definitely not their last! It was so successful that the students are demanding that we do this once a month throughout the school year. The students had their choice of most of the amazing artists that have participated in Dolly Oblong's artist series. It was a blast watching so many kids find the joy of paper toy building.
