@scott: it is a knd of PVC, we call it FOREX, i have no idea what it is called in english.. very soft hardfoam, easy to cut, expensive, but well worth it! he turned out just the way he was supposed to.. (:

And these giant size blank models are a great idea: in this way, everyone see that their design is perfect, if you see what I mean. Anyway I love too the black one: it looks like made of metal... or asphalte O__o

@jerom: thanks! i am glad you like it. the black one is just another white one that i spraypainted with a dark grey, the paper really took that color quite nicely.. (:
