We Declare it INTERNATIONAL URBAN PAPER TOY WEEK, MAY 2 - MAY 9.

> Okay, so we aren’t an official international governmental agency so we can’t REALLY declare it International Urban Paper Toy Week, but you have to wonder how these things get started. The way I figure it, someone decides to do it, they get a group of individuals to agree and it just sort of happens. Well, maybe. I think the publishing of a book completely devoted to the amazing work of international paper toy artists seems like a great reason to declare a week of celebration of all things urban paper toy. Since we are, technically, a governmental agency (a high school) I believe that gives us the authority to make this declaration. We at Cabrillo will be celebrating this momentous occasion with a week of lunch time paper toy activities and workshops. We will also be kicking off the week by attending the fantastic Urban Paper book launch party at Mobius in Los Angeles on Saturday, May 2nd. Stay tuned for updates and images of our activities. > Say... here’s an idea, why don’t you find some way to celebrate this week and let us at Cabrillo know what you are doing. Maybe we can all work together to make this real.
