Hi, I'm Edgar Castelo, and here's my 7 segment, Papercraft inspired, hand-operated Display... BusStopper2.
Who? What? Where? Why?
I was on my local Inventor's Association, and a blind man asked us, why wouldn't somebody invent a hand-operated, re-settable Bus Line indicator, for him and others to stop just the Bus they wanted, not each and every one...
The result was my BusStopper, first version:
Me demonstrating it, got me a Gold Medal on Geneva Expo 2000:
But the incredible machines Rob Ives makes out of Papercraft, set me up to this, BusStopper 2, that anyone, anywhere, can make for the Blind, out of hardboard for the base, and cardboard for the segments.
So you can find out more about this, and other stuff, AND get the plans to build a 3 Digit BusStopper2, here:

Thank you guys, now it's up to anyone to build one such thing for any blind or nearsigthed they know, so to put it to good use...
My suggestion is to use some printable resilent tissue, for the moving parts, or plasitc sheet. I'll ad a simple gizmo I've conquocted to make a good crease on plastic sheet, now, on the Blog.
