A couple a days ago I got the idéa of making Nick Knites cool MechaBunny in wood.

He's a nice man and sent me the templates..

Here it goes:

First the pieces.. The body was a bit tricky with all the angles.

I made the body of aged birch, tail and legs of alder and plywood ears.

Eyes... Why not.. Nice with the skullbunny! :)

Glueing the tail, ears in place.

Massive facepalm! Glueing the head...

Marking up for the paws.

"HUG ME! I can take it, Im not made of paper!"

Shining new!

And I can stand!!

There ya have it! Well, it's not paper, butt paper is made of wood and the model is a paperoriginal..

Now to making a custom paperversion..
