Torsobot 9000

As many of you know, the amazing, Mad Matt Hawkins is putting together an awesome papertoy book, featuring a whole bunch of papertoys by as many artists, including myself. :) There are also plans to include a giant, collaboration toy, made up of ten (I think) separate toys by as many artists, each one being a different body part that when put together, will make one super mega toy. Sweeeet! So I was asked to do the torso. And Matt has encouraged me to show it off even before the book is complete. There are actually two different models shown. The smaller one was printed on an 8.5x11 sheet, and the large one is from a 13x19 sheet. The larger one has a clear, transparency film window, and the driver is a separate piece inside. I had a lot of fun with this one and I can not wait to see it all come together. But we are gonna have to. But you don't have to wait to see the torso. So, boys and girls, I present to you, to Torsobot 9000. Hope you like it!

Haha.. what a cool idea. Great torso with the driver. You really should release more of the Papper ones! ;)
Did you guys decide on a certain way all the limbs will connect?

I thought I was already excited about Matt's collection book. Turns out, I just got even more excited. The phrase that comes to mind is "Friggin' Sweet!"
