Nice Paper Toys

The Papertoy Network!

the misfit toys

have you ever re-discovered one of those random, crazy paper toy templates in your download folder? the kind with no artist's mark or identifier as to its name? the kind you want to build yet won't because you MUST know who made the art you're about to invest in? yeah, me too, all the time. so here's a place to upload screen shots of templates, or build pictures of these nameless, misfit toys, and maybe, just maybe we can find a home for a few of them.

@Carlos No! the Gritties are not made by me I got them from PaperVinny a NPT member from Canada. They're ice hockey related that's all I can say!

@Andrew The Batman Gritty I found on (no longer up), and was done by a guy called Doc Loco.

The white template with the spider like body is called "spider paint" and it was designed by Roger Castellanos aka "alguien 2-3", who is a mexican artist

mr greenelf, the handmade deer one was designed by Steo, another cool artist from the npt community, and the crab penholders are also made by him

couldn't find anything on the spiky but on the 2 grittys, they were maybe made by mr meth :) should ask him if he did

i would hope so, Andrew! And even more depending on how sloppy you are at organizing them. Funny story, when I first started collecting, I attempted to organize according to what kind of toy it was; robot, vampire, zombie, etc… but then I saw a Shin Tanaka toy for the first time (Gritty) and immediately knew there was no category for that, other than, SHIN TANAKA!
