Nice Paper Toys

The Papertoy Network!

Some time ago I was in Rome on vacation for a few days,
instinctively I had brought a bag with me, with inside utility
knife, scissors, pencil and ruler.
during these days I had some chances to make small improvisation exercises,
when I find pieces of paper in his hands, the covers of magazines, leaflets, Tikets
..
quickly design a small model, very instinctively and without glue joints.

I show you the results:
;-)

having said that I urge you all to try, is an excellent exercise in thought, decompose and recompose geometrical figures with his head. not to take too long to think about.

This discussion is only for real brave Paper-Designer!
This pages is dedicated to improvisation.

That is the way of the artist. You just can't stop creating.
Happy B-day by the way :)
Those are great improvised paper toys, Vins! Brilliant. I will have to try this soon. Thanks for sharing!
DOOOOOOOOD!!!
I just came across this post.
I luv the concept.

Do I understand the rules properly?
No glue or glue tabs? Just paper, twists, and folds?
is not a contest but a free exercise, you can do as you like;
I personally am completely eliminating the use of glue, also models the most challenging project.
with the joints you can do everything!
Hi VinsArt,

Yep, an exercise - just wanted to be clear about the "rules" of paper toy improvisation. I've got a bunch of old biz cards that I never got to use. I think I'll get started on that. LOL Thanks for this, so very inspired!!!
sharing ideas is a demostration of love to art and expressive feeling....

big up Vinz!
Hey Vins!

I really loved the idea of paper toy improv.
Many thanks again for coming up with it.
I'll probably do it regularly, its really fun to do, very liberating!

I even put together an Improv Kit! LOL

really nice spaceship red!
I now have released "little western";
templates of the characters, were improvised on the my business card.
I really liked the shape obtained with a few folds
and later I worked a lot on the costume.

if you make other models improvised publish them on this page reference,
are very useful for inspiration.
