Hi Folks,
I have a question for you:
What is the "official" term of the plain picture "the blueprint" in 2D which you have before you cut out and fold the Papertoy?
Are you calling this thing blueprint?
Would it be better to find a special name for it? It seems to me that nothing really exists here...help me i might be wrong!
share your ideas, maybe we invent a new word for that, which everyone uses and which than appears on wikipedia :)
my ideas so far:
flatline, flatsketch, plainfig., 2Dplain, the plain
what do you think? can we make a standard here, something everyone uses as a generl term?
now, you. Go for it.
Slurg.

Template means more the whole paper i guess, but not the form itself.
so whats the form you cut out than?
Template is also not specific for this thing, its universal.
you can have website templates, cms templates...
i just thought it would be nice to have something related to the paper, which is just used in that genre after
:)
although template is right.
i see it as a template. wether it's a digital file, something you've printed out, or have cut away from the extra paper. once you put that first fold in it however, it's a toy in progress ;)
