Actually, seeing the URL is nicepapertoys.com and not something like Nicepapertoys.ning.com means it's already a paid site. The costs may go up, but I'd say a paypal button will help out with that if needed...

Brian? Any thoughts

I've just checked and http://nicepaper.ning.com (the original name) redirects here. (I found an old e-mail from Brian saying that he bought the domain) There is a 5$ fee for redirecting a Ning network to a new URL, so I know he's paying something.

However.... I also found an e-mail stating that he had to remove the internal ads because Ning only allows ads like that on the Professional Network.

Brian, if we need to chip in just give us a shout.

Where ever the group goes, I'll surely follow. I just joined the group on FB. It's nice to know we're connected on many different fronts.
I wouldn't have a problem donating to help out Brian, either.

I'm on FB, but thinking about their unpredictable treatment of user data and such I'd prefer to not see NPT migrate there.

FB is alright to get a flood of needless and completely useless info, it's definitely not as user friendly as Ning....
But, does anyone have any suggestions as to where it would be possible to migrate to with such a nice interface? Deviant art has a "Group" Thing, but I like how Nice Paper Toys on Ning is exclusive.
