Cooper it was a great surprise to meet you at Toy Art Gallery last night. I thought I recognized you, but I just wasn't sure how... your photo here is a few years old. I was amused that the person I have known the longest, was also the youngest person attending the opening. Honestly, I have never had anyone say, "wait - you're J.E.Moores?" it made me feel like a super star, and I thank you. I thought it was neat that I gave you a Podling before I even knew who you were. Thank your folks for being so kind to me and my family. We drove 10 hours to get there and meeting you and your family was the reward. Remember to thank them often for being so supportive of your interests. Good parents are hard to find.
Great designs Cooper. Your drawings have powerful deliberate strokes. Be sure to keep a journal so you'll have it years from now. They sell black hard covered art journals at all craft supply stores. Since you are into art, be sure to get in the habit of drawing and sketching your raw ideas into a journal. Sometimes you'll get an idea from a sketch years later. Loose paper always gets lost or damaged. Journals fit on a book shelf, and will last. Thanks again, Jay.
hey cooper I see you've taken off the vinyls, bit sad I like the odd vinyl here and there and it looks like a stonking show surely the rest of them won't mind if you post the odd one or two eh? and hey enjoy the show, have never been to one as it does not seem to have that great a following up here in scotland!
Yo Coop,
Like Vinny I can tell you're all hyped up. Off course Vinyl is fun.
Especially if you can go there, we don't have that kinda shows in Holland.
So have fun at the show, spend all your money on toys and stay creative.
Grtz Meth.
No worries Cooper. I can totally understand your excitement for the show as the vinyl customs are really cool. It just seemed to be getting a bit "out of hand" with how many were being posted. I'm glad you know it's nothing personal and that I was just stating my thoughts. I too am super stoked on the figure scene but sadly don't have shows where I live. You are very lucky to live where you do and to have parents like yours. You're a super cool kid and I look forward to seeing more of your figures. And if I find enough time between work and life I would love to do a Box Fox Custom. Keep creating and thanks for being understanding. Cheers!
