RESCUE THAT CARD-BOY! D:

Well, i pay another visit to the site to share good news (Wait... What!) yes lol.

Since i posted my various photos of my papertoy collection (before it got destroyed) and my Card-Boy actual figures (not my printed ones but the ones with Vinyl bodies) they have had comment posts like e.g "Wow i could never get these!" or "their so hard to find" well... your never gonna believe this....

i found another one of them!!! I got a Card B-BOY! (2nd one down on the left) He came from E-Bay and his original owners didnt look after him very well :(

He is in a terrible state (dented,rips, various scrapes and marks around the back) but he's Family to my others, and they are getting along very well. :3

Will i ever find the other 3 in the Set?!?!? only time will tell............

Comment by Adam T on September 23, 2010 at 11:30am: oh and i forgot to add - the cardboy's vinyl body is inside the packaging as it folds out from the inside out, and you pop out the hole so your little cardboy dude can see. But the Cardboys were all surprises unless you get them from a source that has checked their insides first. You had no idea what one you were getting :S Thats why i have 2 of the same one.

Comment by Adam T on September 23, 2010 at 11:26am: I originally were making the Calendar ones from the Cardboy website (2007), and came across the actual ones, I searched on google and loads of places were sold out or discontinued from stock.

Theres 8 in the set.

I found a place where i got 4 (Ninja,Wrest1er01,Cardbot and Chinpira) but ive sadly forgotten the website. But they were £1.99 each. I then got my "?" Cardboy sneaker a year later as a surprise present for my Birthday from my parents with some new trainers that i wanted.

My best bet now is finding them on E-Bay which takes forever because people pay over the top prices for these little dudes. Card B-Boy was over £6! but i put a max bid of £10 as i had that as my final max bid.

Anyway, good luck in finding them if you are going to collect all 8 + Sneakers.

Comment by karen trinidad on September 23, 2010 at 10:15am: I saw a few of them at a toy shop when I was visiting family in SoCal. Not sure as to how much they were though. I think it was part of a trading even that the store owner does every so often.
