Nice Paper Toys

The Papertoy Network!

After finishing Grim Grinning Grunt, I decided to finish another custom.

Today I present: Grizza a SIZZA custom. SIZZA is created by Nick Knite, and Nick introduced me to Matt Hawkins!
And perhaps one of the reasons that I'm in the book...

I seem to have problem to keep the design in the models: I've modified SIZZA a little...
But I want to thank Nick for introducing me to Matt, and in return you get a great custom.

A Hummer? That really sounds great, too..
Maybe MCK is building a whole car-park.. ;)
like on MTV-Cribs.. hehe..

Would love to see that, too!

It is more than a thumbs-up, though..it is more of a jaw-dropping-down..
I really think it is fascinating, what people come up with and think of, that i haven't.
Turning SIZZA upside down or changing his claws to bunny-ears or turning him front to back and making a car out of him.. that really exceeds my creativity, obviously.. ;)

Dude, Nick gave it a thumbs up, that's basically all that counts! ;-)

PS: need to see pics of the "smoke side".

I agree Brainjar, this model is far away from the original. This was not really my intention, but the design 'forced' me in this direction.

The first modification was the shape, but I kept the height, the width and the dept of the original model.
But after I created the hotrod skin on the model that I had created, it looked like a hummer (I will post a photo of it....); it was to wide. So I modified the depth of the model.
With the original depth gone, the model look less and less a SIZZA. Because the basic features of the original were already modified I decided that the model needed more depth so I created the wheels.

The 'claws' where added, to show that it still is a SIZZA!
BTW the 'claws' can be reversed (the other side is smoke instead of fire)

I had to think about it for a day, was not sure if i like it as it's so far away from the original. But thinking about it again, i like the hot rod style. I'd have preferred a flame design on the car as well tho, instead of the drops/blobs (not sure what to call those). :)

Awesome.
I only noticed it was a Sizza because of the "claws" :-) Very well done!
