Nice Paper Toys

The paper toy network

I'm still a bit new to NPT, and I've noticed that hardly anyone posts their paper toy sheets in their picture albums. I was wondering where do people post their creation sheets like a website, blog site or some place else.

most people post in blog posts or link to their ste or a site such as media fire where the template can be downloaded. you can upload files to npt if you want to

One of the members of NPT created a big list of papertoy designers and there personal website:

hope that helps

Problem is Badweed, the guy who started this list seems to have vanished of the face of the earth.
Zerolabor and me try contacting him from around June 2008, but no response.
Z. did a collab with him and I contributed in finding links he added to the list.
Maybe he's lost interest, I don't know.

There's also a website where you can upload or download templates, called Pepakura.net. It just went online recently so there's not too much models yet, but hopefully people will start uploading their models there so it will become a central place for lots of templates. All my free toys can be downloaded from there.

Oh, wow!
I'll check that out, too.

Thanks to all who helped me get my feet wet.
Now, it's sink or swim.

Hmm, so you guys don't have your personal website to upload your template? I saw many papercrafter use deviantart to show of their papertoy and some use the same website to upload their template if it's in image format.
By the way, I'm new here. Hope I'm not a bother. I have a blog which I encourage fellow papercrafter to submit their works. Not that I upload the template to my blog but rather I feature their work with image and little preview then link back to their blog. It's more like I help them promote their craft. Well, if anyone want me to feature theirs, I'm most welcome :D

I have my own site (a few, actually :) ) so when I clean up my Jim Panzee template (http://is.gd/7yvz8) I will host it myself and post a link here.

Perhaps it is possible for NPT to host member's PDF files as well; I don't know. For people who do not have their own site they can use for such hosting there are a number of file hosting services, such as MediaFire, that seem pretty good. I don't know how long they hold on to stuff, though.

Is there a FAQ (Frequently asked questions) page for NPT? Seems that 'Where can I post my templates' would be a candidate (as well as the usual questions about tools, paper, books, and so on).

Yeah...I have a DA account...but, I don't really post to it as much as I should. I like to upload my papers as pdf for better quality, I'm not certain if DA supports that. Right now, Blogger is the best way to spread the good word.

I wish NPT would host pdf.
