Saw a great documentary this week. About sampling but not only in music. This goes for paper too.
With an interesting manifest:
1. Culture builds on the past.
2. The past tries to control the future.
3. Our future is becoming less free.
4. To build free societies you must limit the control of the past.

Saw it too a while ago. Great documentary. And it also made me think about our toys and the way we sample elements from popular culture, create fan-art, etcetera.
