Hey Craig :

In general, a limited edition papercraft or toy is one which is made available for download for only a set period of time. Popular examples of such would be the Rommy series by Tetsuya Watabe and the various toy series by Shin Tanaka : Boxy, Chibby, etc. You can find plenty of other examples by simply searching the web.

As for acquiring these various limited editions, I'd recommend you first look through the forums and check to see if there are any discussions already going on about the toys you're looking for.

For example :

This one is about the Rommy series : Wanted : Old Rommy Templates

And here's one about Shin Tanaka's work : Shin Tanaka

As you'll quickly notice, there are plenty of people on the site who are willing to help others out when it comes to obtaining copies of various limited edition toys.

Then, if there isn't already a current discussion going on about a limited edition toy you desire, you can put out a request for it via a new discussion thread.

I hope this helps.

Share & Enjoy!
okay thanks for the links, but do you know of any that are open now?
Yo Craig,
Check this: www.newyork-tokyo.co (top/right of the page)
and: http://acclaimmag.com/feature-article/items/Shin_Tanaka.html
and of course Hoophy: http://shin.co.nr/
You never know when he's gonna take them off the net.
Grtz Meth.
thanks i now have them saved!
bearing that in mind, here are two series :

speakerdog - a legend, in my mind, which will no longer be available after the end of March

&

thought processor - click on the initial screen to load the link to the series, which is currently Seattle

lastly, if the rommy series is of interest to you, you can download it from here : rommy

p.s. methuup - thanks for the acclaimmag link
thanks but where can i download the halahettadon rommy
its all there craig..zip file to all the rommy
i don't have file factory
you don't need a filefactory account to download the file. instead, just follow these instructions (some of the steps you've already done before) :

click on this link : rommy.

on this page, click on the link below "Download All :".

go to the bottom of the next page & click on the "DOWNLOAD NOW with FileFactory Basic" button.

at the top of the next page, you will see a 30 second countdown. once it is complete, go to the bottom of the page & click on the "Download with FileFactory Basic" link.

at this point, you should begin downloading a file titled "ROMMY_all.zip". like hadzry noted, this file will contain all of the rommy templates.
thanks it worked!
