Nice Paper Toys

Hi all,

just wanted to give a heads-up to anyone using Sketchup for model building.

I have only seen people talking about the Unfolding Tool for model unfolding. While it certainly does work, I recently came across another plugin that's quite interesting. It's called Flattery and offers a few nifty functions not available with the Unfolding Tool. There's a tool to add tabs and reposition them. Also you can rearrange individual segments after unfolding, for optimizing your designs. Best of all, it's free (donationware).

Give it a shot, I think it could come in handy for some of you.

(The installation instructions mention Sketchup 7, but so far it also works fine for me with Sketchup 8.)
